4. Accounts

You may need an account to use some or all features of X/D Loom.

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • keeping your login credentials secure;
  • all activity that occurs under your account;
  • promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by your failure to keep your account secure.

5. Login methods

X/D Loom supports login using:

  • email and password;
  • Google OAuth;
  • Facebook OAuth.

If you sign in using Google or Facebook, your use of those third-party login services is also subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, security, or operation of Google, Facebook, or any other third-party login provider.

If you revoke X/D Loom’s access through your Google or Facebook account settings, you may lose the ability to sign in using that provider unless another login method is available.

6. Plans and pricing

X/D Loom offers the following plans:

Free plan

The Free plan includes basic diagram creation and PNG export with a watermark.

Premium plan

The Premium plan costs $9.99 per month, in the currency displayed at checkout, and includes:

  • unlimited diagram creation;
  • PNG export without watermark;
  • PDF export without watermark;
  • access to premium features available during the subscription period.

Prices and plan features may change from time to time. If we change pricing for an active subscription, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before the change applies.

7. Billing and payment

Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe.

By subscribing to the Premium plan, you authorise Stripe and X/D Loom to charge the applicable subscription fees and any applicable taxes on a recurring monthly basis until your subscription is cancelled.

You are responsible for keeping your billing information up to date.

If a payment fails, we may suspend, downgrade, or terminate access to Premium features until payment is successfully completed.

8. Subscription renewal

Premium subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle.

The renewal date and billing details may be shown in your account settings or Stripe-hosted billing portal, where available.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account settings.

If you cancel, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.

Cancelling your subscription does not automatically delete your X/D Loom account or wiring diagrams. You can delete your account separately through the account settings page.

10. Refunds

Refunds are not provided for subscription payments or partial months, except where required by law.

If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period, but you will retain Premium access until the end of that billing period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

11. User content

“User Content” means wiring diagrams, project names, labels, notes, annotations, uploaded or entered information, and any other content you create, submit, store, or share through X/D Loom.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant X/D Loom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, process, transmit, and otherwise use your User Content only as necessary to:

  • provide and operate the Service;
  • allow you to create, edit, save, share, and export diagrams;
  • provide public sharing features you choose to use;
  • provide support;
  • maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service;
  • comply with law and enforce these Terms.

We do not claim ownership of your wiring diagrams.

12. Public sharing

X/D Loom may allow you to share wiring diagrams publicly using a shareable link.

If you enable public sharing for a diagram, you are responsible for that decision and for the content included in the diagram.

Publicly shared diagrams may be accessible to anyone with the link. If you share the link publicly, others may view, copy, download, reference, or further share the diagram.

You should not include private, confidential, sensitive, personal, or regulated information in publicly shared diagrams.

We may remove or disable access to publicly shared diagrams if we believe they violate these Terms, infringe rights, create legal risk, or may harm X/D Loom, users, or others.

13. Exports and watermarks

Free plan users may export diagrams as PNG files with a watermark.

Premium plan users may export diagrams as PNG or PDF files without a watermark.

You must not attempt to bypass, remove, obscure, disable, or interfere with watermarks, plan limits, export limits, or access controls unless that functionality is expressly provided by X/D Loom.

14. Automotive and electrical safety disclaimer

X/D Loom is a software tool for designing and documenting wiring diagrams. It does not guarantee that any diagram is accurate, complete, safe, roadworthy, compliant, or suitable for a particular vehicle, project, component, voltage, current, fuse rating, relay, connector, wire gauge, use case, or legal requirement.

You are solely responsible for:

  • checking and validating all wiring diagrams;
  • confirming component specifications;
  • confirming wire sizes, fuse protection, relays, connectors, grounding, routing, and safety requirements;
  • complying with applicable laws, roadworthiness rules, racing rules, engineering requirements, and safety standards;
  • consulting a qualified automotive electrician, mechanic, engineer, or other professional where appropriate.

Incorrect automotive wiring can cause property damage, vehicle damage, electrical failure, fire, injury, or death. You use X/D Loom and any wiring diagrams created with it at your own risk.

15. Acceptable use

  • bypass plan limits, payment requirements, watermarking, export restrictions, or access controls;
  • use the Service to impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation;
  • use public sharing features to host unrelated, illegal, abusive, or infringing content;
  • represent that X/D Loom has certified, approved, inspected, or professionally validated a wiring diagram unless we have expressly agreed in writing.

16. Intellectual property

X/D Loom, including its software, interface, design, branding, logos, templates, components, documentation, and other materials, is owned by xdloom llc or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

19. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information.

By using X/D Loom, you acknowledge that we handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

20. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that X/D Loom will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

We may suspend or limit access to the Service for maintenance, updates, security, technical issues, legal reasons, or operational reasons.

21. Changes to the Service

We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or change features at any time.

We may also change plan features, export options, limits, or pricing. Where a material change affects active paid users, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service if we reasonably believe that:

  • you breached these Terms;
  • you failed to pay subscription fees;
  • your use creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;
  • your use may harm X/D Loom, users, third parties, or the Service;
  • we are required to do so by law.

If your account is terminated for breach, you may lose access to your account, diagrams, exports, and public share links.

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.

23. Data deletion after account deletion

If you delete your account, X/D Loom will delete associated account data and wiring diagram data from our servers within 30 days, subject to legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and compliance exceptions.

Deleting your account may remove access to diagrams, exports, public links, and Premium features.

24. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, X/D Loom is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

25. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, X/D Loom and xdloom llc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, vehicle damage, project delays, or costs of substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to X/D Loom in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100 if you have not paid us any amount.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

26. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify xdloom llc, X/D Loom, and their officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by posting the updated Terms, updating the “Last updated” date, or sending notice through the Service or by email.

Your continued use of X/D Loom after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

29. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

You agree that disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the courts of Australia, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

30. General terms

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, restructuring, or by operation of law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, form the entire agreement between you and X/D Loom regarding the Service.
