X/D Loom and Apple logos

We’ve been hard at work over the past few weeks to bring the full web X/D Loom experience to the Apple iPad, and it’s finally ready for public release.

From the outset, we’ve always believed X/D Loom would be perfectly suited for an iPad app. This would enable users to swiftly and effortlessly create and edit their wiring diagram designs while in the workshop.

With the new app, we have also brought a whole new suite of new features, chief among them a ground-up rebuild of the diagram rendering engine to enable a far wider range of features and greater user control. Over the next few weeks, we'll start rolling out this new render to users on the web, bringing with it all the awesome new features from iPad. Some of the new features include:

  • Full offline support
  • Full Apple Pencil support
  • Add images and sticky notes to your diagrams for added context
  • Improved PDF and PNG export, making creating painted diagrams even easier
  • New wire route systems offer users greater fine-grained control over wire placement.
  • Reworked the connector, fuse box, and switch canvas components for even more flexibility
  • And more

Download from the Apple App Store today to get started with X/D Loom on the go.
